Payment
You will have to use a card (debit or credit card) to pay for a certification. Your payment is processed by our payment processing supplier (Stripe), not by us. We don't have access to your card details.
Yes. When you make the payment, you will be asked for billing details. You can select either personal or company billing details.
Generally, you can ask for a refund no later than 30 days from your purchase. You cannot ask for a refund if you have started or taken an exam (regardless of whether you have passed or not).
Examination

We use the information you provide through the documents uploaded. If you have valid reason to ask for a change to the name on the certificate then please get in touch with us on by opening a ticket or by emailing us at app@rigcert.education.
No, we do not issue hard copies of the certificates. You can download your certificate from your account and you can print it.

You can take as much time as you need; there is no deadline to take the exam.
You must have an account with all the required information filled in (ID, training records, etc.). You will need a stable internet connection and one hour of uninterrupted time to focus and complete the exam within the allotted time.
Yes, there is a time limit for completing the exam. This information is available on the certification page, and we also provide it to you when you start the exam.
Yes, we provide you with online training and learning handbooks.
No, it’s not mandatory. You can take the exam without going through our training materials.
General
Anybody can check a certification by scanning the QR code on the certificate or by introducing the certificate number on the Verify a certificate page on rigcert.education.
Yes, you can retake the exam. You are not required to wait for a specific period before attempting again. The first retake is free. Subsequent retakes have a 60% discount on the current price of the certification in question.
We usually review exam results within one or two days, and you will receive the results via email. In exceptional circumstances, the process may take longer, but not more than five working days.
Yes. You must have an account and you will manage all your certifications from your account.
We cannot guarantee recognition for the certificates as they can be used in various circumstances. However, a certificate is evidence of your knowledge in the subject matter and should be recognized by any third party.
The certificates do not have an expiration date. However, you should consider updating your certification if the standard it refers to has been revised.
The courses are hosted on Udemy, which is one of the biggest online training platforms in the world.
